Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the membership, participation, and responsibilities within the All Pakistan Geoscientist Association (APGA). By joining APGA, members agree to abide by these terms and uphold the values of the association.

Introduction

APGA is dedicated to empowering students and professionals in Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Climate & Energy, International Relations, Legislation, Management Sciences, Sustainable Development, Social Sciences, and the Health Sector through trainings, seminars, workshops, and student body programs across universities in Pakistan.

Membership

APGA offers two types of membership:

Student Membership
  • Open to university students in Pakistan.
  • Membership fee: PKR 2,000 (non-refundable).
  • Benefits:
    • Access to training programs, workshops, and seminars.
    • Discounted registration for APGA training and workshops.
    • Internship and job placement assistance through APGA’s professional network.
    • Networking opportunities with professionals and industry experts.
    • Eligibility to join APGA student bodies and participate in organizing events.
  • Open to graduates and working professionals.
  • Membership fee: PKR 5,000 (non-refundable).
  • Benefits:
    • Exclusive access to advanced training, networking events, and career development opportunities.
    • Discounted registration for APGA training and workshops.
    • Priority for job referrals and professional networking through APGA’s platform.
    • Opportunity to mentor students and contribute to APGA initiatives.
    • Preference in participation for industry-related projects and collaborations.

       Membership Terms

  • Membership is required by filling in the APGA Membership form attached with a copy of their ID card.
  • Membership is valid for two years from the date of registration.
  • Renewal is required once in two years to maintain active status.
  • APGA reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application.
  • Members must comply with APGA’s policies and ethical guidelines.

Event Participation

  • Participation in APGA-organized trainings, seminars, and workshops is open to both members and non-members.
  • Members receive exclusive discounts on training and workshops.
  • Registration may be required for specific events.
  • Attendees must adhere to event guidelines and university policies.
  • APGA reserves the right to deny entry to any individual violating conduct rules.
Payment & Refund Policy
  • Membership fees and event registration payments must be made in full at the time of application.
  • All payments are non-refundable, except in cases where APGA cancels an event or a membership application is not accepted.
  • APGA is not responsible for any third-party transaction failures or delays.
  • APGA actively works with industry professionals and organizations to facilitate internship and job placement opportunities for its members.
  • Student and professional members may receive references and job recommendations from APGA’s network.
  • APGA does not guarantee job placements but will provide guidance, connections, and referrals where applicable.
  • Members must maintain the confidentiality of internal discussions, documents, and strategic plans.
  • APGA name, logo, and resources cannot be used without official authorization.
  • Any misuse of APGA assets will lead to legal or disciplinary action.

  • APGA reserves the right to take action against members who:

    • Engage in unethical behavior, misconduct, or activities that harm APGA’s reputation.
    • Fail to fulfill their roles and responsibilities within the student body.
    • Misuse APGA’s name, resources, or branding.

    Disciplinary actions may include:

    1. First Warning – Official verbal or written notice.
    2. Second Warning – Suspension of membership benefits or event participation.
    3. Final Action – Termination of membership or student body role.
  • APGA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • Decisions made by APGA’s governing body regarding membership, events, and disciplinary actions are final and binding.

By becoming a member of APGA, individuals acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
