Founded on June 22, 2013, the All Pakistan Geoscientists Association (APGA) is an independent think tank dedicated to scientific policy-making and National empowerment. Initially focused on geosciences, APGA expanded its scope to include Environmental Sciences, Media Sciences, Energy-related Engineering, and Health Sector, organizing training sessions in collaboration with national and international organizations.
APGA’s Community Support Program (CSP) has aided underprivileged groups, promoting dignity and self-sufficiency. Through the National Empowerment Program (NEP), APGA has addressed socio-economic and political challenges by developing strategic solutions.
With headquarters in Islamabad, APGA has a presence in all provinces, with research centers and chapters in 54 academic institutions. With over 9,000 members, including 500+ technical professionals APAG has actively contributed to fields such as Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Management Sciences, International Relations, Political Ecology, Health, Agriculture, and Sustainability and played a crucial role in achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 7, 11 & 13, and strengthening Pakistan’s economy. The organization has also signed numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with national and international government and semi-government organizations, fostering research, policy influence, and sustainable development.
APGA has launched a Medical, Health, and Lifestyle Training Program emergency medicine to promote wellness, healthy lifestyle modification, and post-chronic disease recovery, tailored for medical professionals and patients. Additionally, it has established the National Center for Excellence on Energy, Climate, and Health under the Prime Minister’s initiatives. This center serves as a regulatory and monitoring body, assisting investors and industries in sustainable policy adoption, ensuring compliance, and driving development.
