INTRODUCTION
All Pakistan Geoscientists Association (APGA) strives to support the deprived groups of the country through various activities. The APGA Community Support Program (CSP) works on the premise that all individuals deserve an optimal chance to live with easement, self-esteem, and personal fulfilment. This fundamental belief continues to inspire our programs and services and motivate our many passionate staff members and volunteers.
MISSION
The mission of APGA (CSP) is to empower the out-reach workers through their capacity building in order to vastly expand quality education, environmental responsiveness, human rights in the affected areas of Pakistan. We protect gender in equalities by strengthening the skills of the female and youth to develop them as the leaders of tomorrow, unleashing a spirit of confidence with the help of integrated skill development programmes.
VISION
To empower people having their rights, dignity and rehabilitation , through education and skill development being elevated as an advocate on quality education, environmental and their social responsiveness.
Blood Donation Stall
Circulation of pamphlets shall be held among the volunteers to carry out the demonstration of blood donation by having a proper stall.
Hygiene Awareness
A lecture on personal hygiene shall be delivered for basic understanding of the participants and accordingly they will be taken to proper site for practical demonstration and publically awareness.
School Visits
The participants shall also be taken around for the visit of schools for further delivering the CSP awareness to the youngsters of the relevant schools.
Garbage Collection
A healthy and hygienic exercise with proper precautions and gears will be conducted for garbage collection among the students; most probably the exercise shall be carried out in the nearest Sabzi Manddi area.
Traffic Rules
Awareness of rule of the road for traffic in particular shall be given to all students by visiting nearest traffic police office shall be carried out for proper learning the traffic signs and other rules.
Recycling
After collecting the garbage the useable items shall be separated for reutilization by making different objects and useable products.
Civic Sense
The aim of having this exercise is to create civic sense among the children by our workshop/ small gatherings which can help them in their lives and make them civilized members of the society
Pubic Awareness Campaign
This campaign shall be carried out with the collaboration of CDA (member environment).
- In the same a peace walk shall also be carried out on the main stream of Islamabad highway / service road.
- A hike and tracking will be carried out on non working day with the senior management of Bahria University, APGA, CDA and Traffic police to familiarize the participants with the surrounding and environment.
